They say I sound all broken up.
But at low speeds I sound real good.
If its the Ground, How would I fix with a new Ground .Where do I connect too.
(from where to where)

Thanks

if you cord is bouncing around more at high speed compared to slow speed..i'd say it's the cord going to your headset..if reception is broken up as well as transmit..then i'd say it's the antenna cable.

i assume it an I/S.

does the xmit indicator blink when transmitting?

yes= plugs under seat or xmit switch dirty
try a spray can of electrical contact cleaner, turn bike off, spray switch while moving the switch
let it dry (about 10-15 min) try it again

no = somewhere between the plug by the fairing and you mic.
look at the connector where the mic/ear speakers come together.

If you receive clearly at any speeds, it is the cord that goes into your helmet bad.

The one that drapes over your chest when riding.

Replacements are readily available....

The cord on the bike is a standard end.

The one going to your headset can and might be different.

Do you know who's headset it is?

If so you are in business.   Otherwise you will have to go do some visiting to match it.

You can start looking here.

http://www.sierra-mc.com/

I haven't bought a cable for several years, so maybe they might be standardized on the helmet by now also.......

The little wires at the end of the cable that plugs into the helmet is where they break and then make contact with each other at times.....   I tried to fix one once, so don't need to try that unless you can work with a magnifying glass.

+1 on the cable.  Mine did the same.  I have J&M headset and it was the upper cord that plugs into the helmet.  More recently I had a broken wire on the mic inside the helmet where the mic plugs into the main connector causing it to come and go intermittantly.  I removed the plug and soldered the wires.

Do you have the same issues with passenger intercom?  It's the same wires for the mic.  If the passenger can hear you fine but the CB cuts in and out, then it's not the mic wires.  If you don't have a passenger try blowing on the mic.  You should hear it in the helmet speakers.  Try it at different speeds and especially when you know you're experiencing the problem with the CB.  You might also try flexing the cables to see if it gets better or worse.

I am going to try a Complete different  Helmet ,Cord And everything that should help narrow my problem down.
