Howdy all;

  I recently had to install a diaphram kit in the petcock of a 97 Standard. I noticed a brass looking tube but no screen that fits over it. Is this normal ?. Info I've seen shows a filter. Am I missing something?. Thanks in advance.

The screen stayed in the tank.  It is normal that it does this.  if you want to remove it, take a pair of pliers and carefully pull it out.

Thanks Joe;

  Looks like I'll be pulling the petcock again as I shined a flashlight in there and didn't see anything. Damn going to have another tank of gas out of her.
