A friend has a 2000 IS and has asked a couple times about the tips on my 01. Here's a pic, are these stock or aftermarket and if aftermarket, who makes or made these? Thanks

They look like the Hondaline exhaust finishers that are on my Standard.  www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?model_ID=12&action=reviews&category_ID=4&manufacturer_ID=8&product_ID=384&formodel=12

They are not stock, but thay are Honda.  They're a Honda accessory for the Valk.  They used to be on Directline, but I'm not sure if they still have them or not.

Yep, Hondaline. I spent an hour searching for some online a few months back. I found two sites with them, copied the links to some friends, and within a week neither company had any. Too bad as they look great.

This do look good!

I am a new Valkyrie owner. Recently purchased a 1999 I/S. I have began investigating what "extras" are available. So am I to understand correctly that the tips of the exhaust are removable and that different styles are available? If so what styles are there?

Sorry not trying to hijack the thread - just learn.

For Nitrojunkie330--Have responded to your PM.  Do not know how to do the "quote" thing.
