I am checking out the ScalaRider "Teamset" headsets, info says it will work with just about any helmet, specifically a "fullface".
If anyone has the "teamset" where does the mike on the short boom go inside of a fullface helmet ? Is it in your way ?
We are getting the teamset so me & the better half won't have to yell now that my wife has a SyMax, I'm in a HJC IS-33. Plus the "temset" is wireless/bluetooth.
I have had the simple ScalaRider headset for a couple years on my half helmet, it is "only" bluetooth, I use it for my Zumo 550 & it works great.

you should look into the Scala rider set with the small microphone that looks similar to the ear speakers....it's button shaped on a cord rather than the boom mike.

works better with a full face helmet.

We recently purchased the scala rider teamset and installed them on full faced HJC helmets.  The boom mike does infact sit right in the corner of my mouth and not at all comfortable Sad  I would be looking for some alternative.

We use the Q2 Multi Set.  Looks like its built the same.  We have no problems with it really.  We both use different HJC full face modular headsets.  The only problem we've had is if the mic gets twisted it not be directly facing your mouth and the other person cannot hear you very well.  I will say check on eBay.  Much better pricing than if you buy em at a store.

I just upgraded from a Q2 multiset that we bought last summer to the new G4 powerset.

The new G4 is superior in function, although the Q2 served us well.

The new G4 connects to the PC with a USB connection and you can upgrade the software as it becomes available.  I just downloaded version 2.2 and it came with 2.1.  Also, you can set the FM radio stations using the PC software without the hit-or-miss tuning hassle of the Q2.  The G4 supposedly has a 1 mile range, but all the reviews are showing a bit less in real life usage.

I bought the Q2 multiset last year for $250 and got the new G4 powerset (2 paired headsets) for $342 shipped (online).  Just sold the used Q2 on ebay, so recouped most of the money.

The only thing the Q2 has over the G4 in my experience is the way it locks onto the helmet.  The new G4 has a slide lock mechanism (front to rear) that appears to be less secure than the Q2 (top locked) mount.
