I'm planning on getting a set of Mustang bags and I've looked at the Easy Brackets and the Edge Brackets, but what are "ghost" brackets?

I have Easy Brackets on my '03 Standard and like them very much. Easy Bracket, I believe, has a larger market share.

Ghost brackets are improved and now are called Edge Brackets. Ghost/Easy are the same company. Edge also has saddle bags which I now own.
When I bought quick release brackets for my VTX Ghost/Edge didn't have a size that worked for me. Last summer I hit a pot hole and lost one of the Easy Brackets that I purchase in '03.
I rode over to CAO Distributing that sells the Edge Brackets and had them mounted on my VTX and my Valk.
I don't know if I am the only person to loose a saddle bag using the Easy Brackets, but a little feed back from the masses would probably help answer the original question.
The Easy Bracket simply released itself and the bag was gone.
Looking at the Edge Bracket, I think the product is a better design. I can't see how the bracket could release itself.
Call them, they're good people.

I've used the easy brackets on several bikes with no issue at all. Never have used the ghost brackets. I have easy brackets on my 98 and plan on in the future mounting mustang bags on them.

Can the Edge/Easy brackets be used with the stock tourer bags? I had them on one of my old valks using LeatherLyke bags and loved them. Just turn a key to remove the bags...good stuff.
