We went on a Memorial Day Ride today, our Valks got lot's of looks and some nice comments. Then ran into a couple of $#%holes with the typical Jap-Crap comments.  uglystupid2 The big mouth making the comments was a "catolog rider" in all his new black clothing and bandana's from head to toe. I shut his yap pretty quick, not much patience for his kind anymore.
Anyway I ran into another Valk rider wanting to know where I got my "Bar-Grill" I got mine from Chet @Rattlebars although I don't believe he makes them any more. Does anyone know where you can get something similiar to Chet's? I thought I remember someone posting about this in the past? I told him about the VRCC, he never heard of it, had his Valk about 7 years. Hopefully he'll check out the club.

Hi Up I just copied that pic from XF6's site. Ask Daryle but I think they look like regular V Stacks like I and many have on their bikes.

Tundra, just so you know, Darryl's bar-grills are SS (Rattlebars was chrome).  I have one of each.
The stainless takes just a little more work to keep chrome-like.  Darryl is a good man and a good craftsman.

Also, you need to specify to Darryl whether you will use the OE grill underneath the bar-grille because the mount screws are a bit different in length, and the longer ones can come very close to puncturing the radiator if you don't use the OE grille underneath.  I did not use the OE grille underneath because mine was skanky, but probably should have cleaned it up and used it..... it's conceivable a rock or something could make it thru the bar-grille and hole the radiator.... though mine have been on without the OE grille since '05 and '08 with no trouble.    FYI

They do NOTHING and are cosmetic only.

Hi Jess, I've had Chet's installed for three years now and it still looks like new   (I wax it) My friend has one installed less time than I and very little chrome left on it, (never even cleans it) Thanks for the info. This guy tried to order from Chet and was told he was no longer producing them.
Everytime you look something else for the Valk is no longer in production.  I was lucky enough to get a pair of knock -off Rytek tips from Bill Gurney on the Delphi board. Wow, these things are beautiful, he did a real nice job. The last pair I saw on Evil-Bay went for $230.00 I refused to pay that as they were selling for $50.00 new.
Happy Memorial Day
