On this Memorial Day weekend, I am grateful

I am grateful for those who have chosen to serve their country.

I am grateful for those whose service is their life.
I am grateful for those whose courage is legendary.
I am grateful for those whose honor is without compromise.
I am grateful for those whose commitment is unending.
I am grateful for those whose influence is felt throughout the free world.
I am grateful for those who do not call their sacrifice by its name.
I am grateful for those whose deaths were the price for liberty.
I am grateful for those whose lives guarantee that liberty will continue.

I am especially grateful for a daughter who has chosen to be a United States Marine. Her example, her service, her courage, honor, and commitment bring honor to our family. Semper Fi!
