I have a friend of mine that is trying to insure his home-made trike.  It is a Harley front end and a VW back end.  His only choice so far is Progressive at about $1000 a year (liability only).
Is there anyone out there can could suggest a different insurance company or at least let me know what your experience is with finding insurance like this.  Anything out there for damage insurance as well?

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.   ???
