Hi to all, first post here but thanks for all the great info. Had my 98 Valk Standard since December, always had a rattle sound on the left side when accelerating hard. After much searching I discovered a bolt "jingling" inside the left crash bar ... this made no sense finding a bolt in the hollow bar. A brief search found that it was actually a motor mount bolt that had come out of the upper left and slid down the tube as the crash bar mounts right over the motor mount. Even recovered the nut just sitting down below the carbs. Weird noise now gone. Also cured a strange feel during heavy pulling as the motor was actually moving with that motor mount bolt missing. Anyone else had weird loose bolt issues ? Still have a slight vibration on hard acceleration but now no noise.
Good luck and keep enjoying the best cycle made !

Yes a friend of mine had that bolt come off and go in the crash bar.  I found on every Valk I have the checked crash bar mounting bolts very loose.  I recommend everyone check these things.  when you need them things you dont need them loose or worse yet....bolts falling off
