I was taking out the amsoil air cleaner (like the K&N- spray with oil after cleaning)
and in the process of taking off the hoses from the petcock (thanks joe in STLOUIS for the flat screwdriver tip) I noticed that there was a clamp on the fat hose- which I dropped onto the  ground using said flat screwdriver Wink and found this morning but that there was no clamp on the tiny hose next to it

Does that hose need a clamp and what exactly is that one attached to on the other end  #6 carb? If my rememberer is working that is the vacuum hose yes?

Not riding today anyway  fixed the pool and I am gonna be in the water till the heat of the day passes me by

Thanks
