While inspecting my 97 Tour final drive punkin I notice the sleeve that goes threw the center of the punkin was cocked sideways to about the 2 oclock position. I took a screw driver and was able to move it back to the center position. It this sleeve suppose to move like this or do I have a problem. The punkin is off the bike.

I have had a lot of left rear bearing problems on this bike and wonder if that could be cause of my problems.

That's normal. It's only slipped in there and held with an oil seal.

Follow the proper assembly order (tighten the 4 nuts that hold the pumpkin on last--after the axle is torqueud) and everything will line itself up correctly.
