So there I was, riding with a friend on Sunday when I thought I would check my odometer. I knew I was going to roll 100k this summer and just wanted to get an idea how much farther to go. Well when I checked I couldn't believe my luck ... I would roll 100k that day. So after having breakfast at Starved Rock it was off to Troy Grove, IL for Wild Bill Hickok Days. Spent about an hour there and then continued west on US52 with plans of going to Savanah, IL. When we got to Dixon to gas up it was easy to see that there was a fair amount of rain on the way to Savanah so we decided to take IL 2 to Oregon, IL and then east on IL 64 back to Wheaton ... where my friend lives. When we got within 1/2 mile of her place we checked the miles and only had about 6 miles to go so we wandered about and then the numbers started to appear. Please excuse the quality of the pictures since I only had the camera in my phone and didn't expect this to happen this weekend, figured it would be on the way to Bardstown & the Whiskey Run. First there was .... And then ....... Just something nice about sayin .... "Yep, I did that, they are all mine!"

Congrats. I put 100K miles on my Yamaha XS1100 Special that I bought new. I've only bought two other new bikes, my '81 Honda XL500 was stolen at about 32K and my '07 Ninja 250 has a ways to go at just over 15K.

Congrats! Never done 100K on any bike I've owned previously. My new (to me) Valk has 25K now. 75K to go and if the "love affair" keeps going and the "higher authority" agrees, maybe this will be the one. I sure hope so!

Congratulations to you on that mileage. That's more than most people do in a lifetime. Looks like I'm just North of you in West Chicago. I'll take all the 'must ride' road advise you care to offer. Mark

Awesome, I like my low mileage bikes, but I'm looking forward to the miles between me and the 'flipside'.
Can't wait to meet you in Bardstown.
