Since we are paging Six-guns....Six-guns, did you get that nasty dent out of your gas tank?

T.J. believe it or not, I actually have 5 days off from work starting tomorrow (Friday). I'll have to cage it down on Saturday so that I can carry what I have for you. I have talked to a ceramic coater about doing the Cobra pipes, so I'll need to carry those over to him on Monday to see if they are in good enough condition for him to ceramic coat them. What time should I meet up with you on Saturday? The earlier the better for me. Let me know and I'll try and work around the St. Patricks Day parade so that you don't miss it.

godfire, I still don't have the tank repaired. I'll probably wait until after my daughter's wedding in June. Do you know someone in that business that can repair tanks? I have had 2 estimates at $400.00 to fix the tank and the others have been higher. One way or the other I will get it fixed.

Victor, I told you how to fix it pretty cheap, about 2 Cents.

Just drop a lit match in the tank and close the cap really fast.  The increased pressure will pop that dent right out. uglystupid2

You can thank me later......... cooldude

(Kids, don't try this at home.)

Victor, I am not riding in the parade. Started on replacing all wheel bearings in an attempt to get rid of a noise that seems to be coming from the front end when a take a corner at 50+ mph. 8 year old bike and when it bought 3 years ago had only 10600 miles on her. Now it has about 34000 or so. Got the bearings yesterday, got all exited pulled the wheels off, than realized the seals are BO and when I inspected the splines I also need o-rings that I don't have. No riding for me this weekend. Earlier is better as long as it is not before 7 am. ~TJ

Sorry, I knew a guy in Garland but lately he is not doing too good. For the size of that dent, $400 sounds good to me. Unless you want to try the Rainmaker method.....
