The Sunshine Kids Rally is happening in San Marcos this Saturday Morning, June 12th.  I rode it last year and it was very rewarding.  Only two Valks showed up amongst a sea of Harleys.

Here is the email I received for it...

OK ALL, it is that time again for Hot Summer Fun and the Sunshine Kids Rally.

On June 12, 2010 in San Marcos Texas the EVOs Motorcycle Club is putting on a run for kids with cancer. These kids are from the ages of 11 to 17 and are cancer patients. There will be approximately 30 kids who, we will be giving a police escorted cruise through the Texas Hill Country. There is no cost for this run and one of the most rewarding things we can do with our motorcycles. last year we had around 90 motorcycles on the cruse and this year we hope to break 100. This is open to any motorcycle club and motorcycles. EVO will set up the bikes for the kids to ride and we are supporting the event by making it the largest group of motorcycles these kids have ever seen. Lets come out a give these kids a day they will NOT forget.

Bring an extra helmet if you want a rider.  FYI, there are a lot more bikes than kids, so you may not get a rider.

This is the Volunteer Guidlines document.  It was sent as a jpeg doc...

Hopefully, you can print from this link...

I may not be able to make it this year due to my son playing in a baseball tournament, but Old Geezer Richard and Curtis from the San Antonio area may be riding in.  If you're in town for the ROT Rally, it is very easy to make this short ride.  We were done before noon last year.

Let's try and make a good VRCC showing!

Very cool. Wish I could be there to support them, but have family duty in Paris (TX, that is).  Hope we have a good Valk showing for a good cause like that.

See a lot of you at the DFW Bike Run the following weekend, though.
