...make a fine showing at the Sunshine Kids Rally!  Five Valkyries showed up Saturday morning to help give these kids an experience they won't forget.  


Left to Right:  'Butchie", "Laser Pat", "Old Geezer", "Pop 173"  (I'm, of course, not pictured)

Pop 173 was set up solo, so he didn't get a rider.

This event is put on once a year and is part of of the Sunshine Kids Hill Country Adventure.  It's sponsored by Gruene Harley and the EVO Motorcycle club.  Nevertheless, I think the Central Texas VRCC chapter proved that they are still kicking!  Last year two Valks made it out and this year five made it...at this rate we'll have 8.33 Valks next year!

 :cooldude:Hey F-stop I had a real BLAST with these kids ....... and looking forward to next year .... my little guy was Bryan and he was telling me while we were riding this was his FIRST time on a bike and didn't get scared at all .... it was amazing when the kids got off the bus they came over to the Valks first . Butchie ( Curtis Thomas our newest VRCC member ) had a line of five kids wanting to get on his Valk ....... I want thank our VRCC members F-stop , Pops , Butchie , Lazer Pat for coming out and supporting these little guys and giving them a little thrill in their lives just for one day and all the other riders who showed up , my hat off to everyone  cooldude

great day great ride great kids. Good to meet ya'll hope we get together again!!! maybe should'nt have done the new road, had a screw in my tire this morn. But worth it to see the kids smile !!

Bummer about the screwed tire. Undecided was it a front or rear? good to see everyone and to meet Curtis. Thanks Charlie for the pics and the heads up about the ride.  cooldude

it was the rear. Made it back to S.A. before it even felt bad, got to love the darkside!!!Fixed it this morn and off to work at 5:00am.
