What gives....the SE threaded is locked...and here I am on the outside looking in again... Is that profiling?? Is it Bcauz I spel my wurds rong? I just wanted to comment on the Doodyhead....LMFAO!!! My wife continually tells me to grow up!!! I always say NO! So to all of you doodyheads...I know you are not offended... Stay young and ride... Call me anything you want, just not late for dinner!!  |

I have seen and participated all kinds of discussions and debates on heated subjects on this board,including name calling and slander. But...Seriously? that attack was just downright disrespectful . This is the finest,most open and yet respectful groups I have ever known but attacking one of your own like that......SHAMEFUL ! I think quite a few other posts should have been locked or eliminated well before that one, and that one wasn't all that bad (seen worse). I think the term "one of our own" is being used in the broadest sense, since I think that most don't consider that the case (same political views, religious beliefs, or even geographical location).... regardless if he rides a Valk.... and you would think that would be the binding factor (but it doesn't appear to be so). I didn't see any more of an attack on one individual than I have seen him perform on others (which should have been locked or eliminated). So there ya go.....brotherly love I guess......  |

Our boundaries tend to be fairly loose, but even we will not endure the flippant use of doodyhead. 
Honestly there's no way to win. If a moderator locks or removes a thread someone will call, "Foul!" and "Censorship!" If one leaves it to run its course someone will inevitably point out that it should have been stopped long before bloodshed ensued.
All the particpants in that thread are "ones of our own". I personally believe that appropriate application of mutual respect, not only for one another but also for each other's differing opinions, would go a long way toward achieving what most of us seem to want.
I find myself musing at what a difference it might make were we to begin our responses of disagreement with, "I can see how you might come to that conclusion," rather than with "You stupid blundering fool! How could you be so completely uninformed?"
I would probably strive to keep words like doodyhead and ignorant out of the discussion, unless of course we choose to apply them to ourselves.

i would sincerely like to apologize for the introduction of the term doodyhead to this forum I just happened to hear a kid say it at the bus stop to another kid and was laughing and thought it appropos for the thread. Any reference to poopy did not come from here and belongs solely to roadkill  |

We just like to "stir the pot " once in a while but I will not condemn a man I've never met just because his opinion differs. |

I guess it was the intent to gang up on the mentally challenged kid on the playground that bothered me.just because he is "Slow" doesnt mean he's not special ! That was the first post I read after getting home from 1700 miles in 3 days (soaking wet at 1 a.m.) and maybe it just struck me wrong. We are too good a group to pick on one of the other kids just because he's different and dresses funny!  If that's how we roll..I'm probably next to get bashed for lickin windows and riding the short bus I gotta go try and bite my ear now  |

Everyone has an option and an opinion...we are family correct...so like every family we can be a little dysfunctional at times...I still like doodyhead...poopyhead...and dingleberry...these you have to admit are funny words and names...if anyone is offended...oh well...it is childish...not mean hearted and I believe that was the intended use...we are all semi mature aldults...
