I'll give $1 to the first person to ride the fat lady down that road!!

The only problem with that is that the "safety line" is probably in the condition as the rest of the path. If it weren't for that I'd be all over it the views in that video were amazing.

I musta got a different video.  The one I got had a guy on a pretty wide "sidewalk" most of the time, and when it was steep there was strategically placed hand and foot holds, wire and rope safety lines everywhere to clip into.  The only thing scary about that video was the music....I was waiting for one of those demon faced things to pop out or something.

Try real mountain climbing without pre set hardware to make it easy.  That was wimpy

Seriously. I can't imagine any force in the universe that could get me someplace like that. As for folks who voluntarily do things like that, well surely modern physiological science could develop a pill.

Its like anything else with risk involved....do it right, with the right equipment and its not as bad as you imagine.  Ive climed in Korea, Scottland, France, Italy, Wales, and Northern Ca....the Seirra Nevada......that thar video would be like the daily walk to the bathroom from one of the climbing huts we base camped at on the way up Ben Nevus in Scottland

No video of how it was made, but here's some history of why, when, where, etc:
