Who might be interested in a CHROME MAIDENHEAD ORNAMENT ?
Price depends on qty so we need to get a feel for how many might be purchased.

This is a wax image, and the mfg are ready to create the mold.

Sheesh, you sound like the Harley only repair shop that refused to replace a tire on my Valk!  2funny

(Sorry for the threadjack, that was just too easy, I couldn't pass it up!)

Very cool looking. Just curious, I know price is dependent on quantity, but ballpark (Estimate)? Talking 10's of dollars, 100's?

In that case, I'm in...

I used to look at old car hood ornaments on eBay, wondering which one would go good on a Valkyrie...

Dag I assume that this price estimate does not include the cost of shipping from Norway?  If the total cost shipped is no greater than $100 US then I would be interested in one.

How would they attached to the fender...drilled and tapped and fastened with a screw?

Uhmmmm, what is that in mm's?

Yeah, I would be interested in one...would the base be curved, to fit the front fender, or flat, or do you know? Drilled and tapped, for mounting?

Double-sided-sticky-tape?

A hunnerd bucks fer a shiny thang ta put on tha front fender!??

That would be pretty essspppeeennnsssiiivvvvvveee fer a werkin' man.  Shocked

(More feasible for a professional who is accustomed to spoiling his "fat lady.")  Evil angel

Depending on the price, I'd be interested. Toward the high end of $100, I'd be reluctant and would do several other things first.  Undecided

Toward the $40 to $50 range, I'd probably buy myself a birthday present (I'll be saving for the next couple of months).  Wink

Just my two cents worth.

I believe they're referring to something like this:

http://www.jpcycles.com/product/7110284

That's a repo, but they were I believe originally on Indian motorcycles, and the face of the Indian lights up...

The Maidenhead Fender Ornament looks pretty cool and I voted for one.
But scraping the internet tonight I found this:

http://www.ricker.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=1323&ParentCat=351

Hmmmmmmmm........

I have always liked the Gem 710 Flying Goddess but they are no longer listed on the Gem website and current vendors want $30-$40 more than what Gem had them listed for. Angry
