Is the final drive vent plug threaded in or is it pressed in? (or another option?)
Prepping to do a final drive oil change and wanted to check the vent hole while doing so.

It is not threaded.  Best leave it alone.

Its pressed in.  If you try to remove it, there's a chance you'll break the top part off of the stem.  If you're determined to do so, you might want to have a spare one standing by.  If you just want to check it, turn the final drive upside down.  If oil starts coming out of the vent, its fine.

I think I'll not mess with it and just change the oil.

Don't forget to check Tire Pressure while bike is upside down-easier to get to Air Valves.
