think anyone would be interested? i picked up a trunk body and have managed to find all the parts to assemble one including all the mounting brackets and the chrome grab rails. so it would be everything you need to slap it on a std or tourer. you'd just have to pick up a set IS saddlebag hinges for about $45.00 if you have real valk saddlebags. reason i'll be selling it that i just got a complete setup including all locks, ign and gas cap , already painted black.

what do you think is a fair price? thanks for your help! Tank

I see people TRYING to sell them for stOOpid money sometimes.

It would not be worth that to me, unless I was trying to rebuild an IS or do something like Smokin' Joe did with Half-Breed.

If it's in decent shape you'd probably sell it FAST for $400.  I won't give you that... but SOMEONE probably would.

The I/S Trunks ordered/replaced brand new incl. fender rails and rack runs just over $3,000.00.

I paid $800.00 several years ago [for my Tourer] and that was the average going rate for many years. I also think it's fair and would pay it again for a trunk system in good to great condition.

The ABS body parts are the main reason insurance companies total wrecked ones so fast. Especially on an I/S.

I would list for $800.00 + and wait for someone in need to repair their wrecked ride. It'll sell. Don't give it away!
