This is probably a big nothing, or, "normal," but I want to ask it anyway:
Bought my 2000 Interstate back in November. Did some desired alterations, like Mustang seat, Cobra pipes, etc. With new pipes and spring/needle kit tuned in, the bike ran great and sounded good. Recently, had my local dealer perform a full service, which included carb synch, K&N air filter and mew timing belts.
After said service, I have begun to notice an intermittant popping from the right side of the exhaust. The bike runs great. The noise (a mild , gurgling, Pop....pop-pop.....) occurs mostly when I'm in the lower gears and trying to hold a steady pace at say 35 to 45 miles per hour. It almost sounds as if its from ONE pipe on the right side of the six into six Cobras. And I'm only questioning the sound, because I hadn't noticed it before the service.
I checked and re-tightened the pipes, as I've put some 1500 miles since the install, but the low- key "pop......Pop" still persists. Anything I should check? Or, just ignore it, as its not there under hard acceleration and higher end performance.            Thanks, in advance, as always.     Mike

To narrow it down pull each individial plug wire one at a time till popping stops, that will be the culpret carb, Then try backing out pilot 1/4 turn till popping stops..

Make sure the rubber boot on the intake tubes are fully tightened also the boots for the airbox to the carbs. Also check the vaccum line for that carb if not desmoged. If the carb has a cap on the intake it could also have a crack in it.

Most likely a faulty synchronization effort.

I would never expect a dealer to spend the required amount of time needed to do a thorough job. That's why most build their own tool.

Another thing to consider is that you never really know what the dealer has done except to give you a bill at the end of the process.

Tune-up is a misnomer anymore when referring to the Valkyrie. Simply changing the plugs can be considered a tune-up.

+1 on double-checking for vacuum leaks.

Had that problem at a carb sync wrench party. Once the leak was found (in the sync tool) all the popping went away.
