OK, it's 10:57 and I just got them on.
I was torqueing them to the proper torque, and forgot that I was drinking Michelob instead of Miller Genuine Draft, and broke a bolt. Drilled in out and every thing is cool.

But they come on the lowest setting.....What does everyone else do....what settings do you run?

I'm 200lbs and have an occasional passenger at 110lbs.

Are the lowest settings OK?

Jim, did you get the standard or heavy duty ones?

Have you taken 'em out for a ride yet?

I'm very close to buying mine; where did you order them from?

I'm 195. I have 13 inch 440s with regular (not heavy duty) springs. When I set the
preload most/all the way, they are great for me. When Carolyn in on, there is no setting
that doesn't bottom annoyingly often. I'd get the heavy-duties if I were to do it again,
and will probably get some heavy-duty springs soon. If I didn't mind the Valkyrie being
down, I could send the shocks in and they said they'd change the springs and send
the shocks back for about $30.00...

I went with Phatperformanceparts.com. I know the HDL price matches, but when I was looking Phat had the best delivered price. I went with Chrome 13" Heavy Duty.

Right now they are on the softest setting and they feel great, but I just went around the block and my stock shocks were completely gone.

I’ll know more this weekend.

Did the 13"ers sit the bike up a little higher?

Yes, more than just the 1/2 inch. The shot-stock ones compressed some when I got on the bike. These hold firm.

I put them on almost as soon as I got the bike, the OEMs on it were beaters, so I
can't really compare. Seems good, though...

I have the 13 440HDs on my I/S and I'm running mine on three right now. I'm about 260 and this setting works for me alone and also when riding two up with the wife. No I ani't gonna give her weight out either. Progressive said two would be right for me solo. Hope this helps
