As of last evening, Geezer was still pretty much out of it.   Cheesy  The Dr. told Lisa the surgery went well, and he should be back to his "normal" self really soon   Roll Eyes    He'll be recuperating for at least a month before he can do much.  He got him a nice recliner to lounge in while Lisa waits on his every need  coolsmiley

Geezer is awake and as lucid as he usually is   Cheesy  Got a text from him today, and he's doing OK, though he says his neck looks a bit like someone took a stick and beat him with it.   He'll be able to get out and about in a couple of weeks.   cooldude

Hi Lazer Pat - this is Old Geezer's Lisa.

 wanted to call you on Saturday, after his surgery, but apparently we don't have a good phone number for you - something to be remedied!

Richard's surgery went well and today being Monday, he's at home recuperating.  The trick now will be to keep him quiet (hah!) and still (hah HAH!!), so the 'mud' the doc put in place of his discs (four of 'em) will set up - and this will take about two weeks.

Feel free to call or post again on VRCC - he says he's feelin' all soapy 'cause of all the calls and messages he's been receiving (does anyone know what that means, really?!).

Good to hear you are on the mend!!!!!!
After I had back surgery years ago.... I was told not to get out of bed for a MONTH... except to go to the bathroom.   
I had a little bell that I rang when I needed something.. cooldude...after about two days, that little bell disappeared... Cry..  I have no idea where it went.....but with the attitude I was getting, I was just glad I didn't find it when I went to the bathroom.... Embarrassed...
