I've looked at the "Defender" jacket and the "Sentinel" jacket. I've had the Sentinel pants for years and they have always done the job. Just wondering if anyone has them and what you think of them.

And no less than 12 hours ago I just bought a set of MotoGear Rain jacket and pants.   Undecided   I did this based on the advice of a Houston rider who rides to work every day, rain or shine.   He said he's tried numerous brands, and this is the one he prefers.    I'll be watching the responses you get to this thread on the Tourmaster gear.  I've got some Tourmaster stuff, and I'm impressed with the apparent quality of their gear.  cooldude

Tourmaster makes some of the best raingear in their price range.

I had a Tourmaster two piece set for years that was abosolutely waterproof, but these days I prefer Frogg Toggs for their breathability and portability.

Just my $0.02

Big like you or smaller than average like me. They both have their ups and downs.  Smiley
I had an LL Bean rain jacket and some tourmaster pants that kept me dry and you know we've ridden in some serious rain. After 6 or 7 yrs they gave it up. Replaced the pants but LL Bean no longer offers the jacket.  Sad

Yellow and Black, you can use it when the temps drop and it isn't cold enough for the big heavy stuff.  It comes in a yellow bag, and when we two up and pack heavy, I put that yellow bag on top of the luggage rack for visibility.
So far they have done their job.

That's just great now it will take you 30 minutes just to buckle and zip all the hardware on the Tourmaster gear  Cool

We saw a BMW rider on The Blue Ridge Parkway one day it came a turd floater and we all hit the same pull over gettin' the rain gear on....By the time dude got everything snapped, buckled and zipped the rain was over  Smiley

i've got Frog Togs.  they're great, the only problem is they're blue!!  also, they are tight inthe crotch and i ripped em out!  rode two hours in a rain storm one night and the only thing that got wet were my feet and hands.

Had Frog Tog Trouble of the Same Sort and Everyone laughed at my Duct Taped Crotch.

I think it was because there were wrinkles in my duct tape, poor workmanship was noted.

Ron: I had a lesser expensive Tourmaster jacket. Then I bought the Sentinal pants. The jacket ripped and I got the Sentinal jacket. Best raingear I've had. Ed and I went through those West Texas floods 2 years ago and stayed dry. Wet hands and face.
