We had a meeting this weekend at BUD, close to the Atlantic Ocean Road.
Heavy rain and windy Friday and Saturday.
We rented four cabins, made some good food (we planned to have BBQ but we had to cook indoors)

The sun showed up Sunday morning.
Some had about 100 to 150 miles ride back home. (Only 50 miles for me)

Joe there is a thing called a Boat.

You could simply use your big boat you have in storage and sail on over.

I mean if a 16 year old Minor Female can sail around the Horn of Africa, a Viking such as yourself could

almost certainly make it with a compass and land sightings.

Runic Writings had the Norseman or Vikings in Middle America in 1362 before ole Columbus.

A history lesson. Christopher is not the European that discovered America.

Actually it did not need discovering, Indians had that covered, I guess it needed Plundering.

You win a cookie there Gear Jammer, as Don Rickles used to say.

Amerigo, now that's pretty vain naming it after yourself.

Amerigo ,, America. Please no wonder they are a third world country now.

Not after himself.  A cartographer (Martin Wardseemüller ) named it after Amerigo for having made several trans-Atlantic voyages.  Though I'm sure there was vanity enough for them both.
And BTW Big Al, would that be a Darkside cookie you just awarded me?  Roll Eyes

Dag they quit making those pills, Qualude that is. Lemons or 714's. Not that I would know.

He will not be able to pass a drug test if his Doctor does not prescribe them.

But it is a good remedy for the fear problem.

Joe is clostrophobic is his problem and he would tell you that himself.

I remember my first plane ride on a jet into Denver International.

I pulled that seatbelt so tight I heard the family jewels tinkling.

Rough air going in there.
