The biblical word “church” in Matthew 16:18 is widely accepted by Bible scholars as meaning a group of devotees (a calling out), not a physical building of worship.  Since you apparently disagree with them, this may not mean much.  It is interesting to me that everyone has their own personal interpretation of what the Bible means, and virtually all of them differ!  You would think that if there were only one truth, everyone would be on the same page!
As far as Islam, Muhammad mentions Jesus as the second prophet, with Abraham as the first.  Jesus overrode (made them take a back seat) previous Jewish rituals and replaced them with his own.  Christians usually call this the New Covenant, and that is why they aren’t bound by Levitical laws and stuff in the Old Covenant.  The idea that Allah is some sort of “moon god” as evidenced by a crescent is easily disproven, since the crescent and star wasn’t used until the early 1800’s.
You might be better served by doing research beyond Wiki and neo-Christian websites!

Yeah, I'm liking this taking a turn towards more "light-hearted," but Big Al is right and Bobbo is right (No, I'm not introducing "relativism.")  Bobbo, and I think Big AL, are both saying the "church" are the believers in Christ.  No particular denomination, certainly no building, but the BELIEVERS are the Church, the body of Christ.  And it is the Spirit of God who teaches His church.  The Bible is the main means by which believers learn about God, but it is the Spirit that guides each individual in their understanding of the Bible.  Yes, Bobbo, I agree with you; agreement will only go so far before agreement breaks down and there is disagreement.  That, as I see it, is not God's fault, it's ours.  But that's a digression.  You can use the Bible to support any view-point you want to.  That's why only an honest and open heart can be guided to the Truth by the Spirit, even though the "Truth" is in the Bible.

God can also use the Valkyrie to enlighten us, or at least, to give us joy.  Is this MC related now?

Since most illegal aliens, especially the ones to the South, are Christian, and Arizona is passing laws to keep them out, it must be the vengeful Christian god that is doing this.  He’s telling Arizona that they are wrong in doing this, and is punishing them with fire!
