Com’on Big Al, you know I’ve read several translations of the Bible.  Again, I’m not moved due to the inconsistencies.  Things like the Earth created before the Sun in Genesis, and the description of the circular sea in 1 Kings 7:23 that suggests that Pi is 3.00000 instead of 3.14159.  Yes, I know biblical apologists say that the measurements could have been taken at different points to make the math work, but again, that shows lack of appropriate detail at best, and just plain wrong at worst.  It doesn’t work for me.

I know this is a silly thread, but according to Einsteinian physics (Special Relativity),
the speed of light is constant in relation to the viewer.  That means the rider would see the light project out in front of him as if he was standing still.  Same with the taillight, the rider would see no difference.  Now a stationary observer would see the headlight severely blue shifted, and, as the rider passed, the taillight would be severely red shifted  (Doppler effect).  On a related note, the rider and Valkyrie would attain infinite mass and infinite length along the direction of travel, so if you thought the Valk was a long and heave bike, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

Well, Mike, science deals with things where the scientific method can be applied.  Stuff like physics, math, biology, etc.  It does not cross into non-scientific things like morals and politics.  The literature I referenced crosses over into geometry, where it is clearly outside of its scope.  I am explaining why I choose not to accept the literature as absolute truth.

I for one am thankful that I don't need rules from a man made cult like a religion to tell me not to lie and to respect my parents.  I'm also faithful to my wife because I actually love and respect her, not because the cult tells me not to.
