It is with a heavy heart that I come to make this post today. My husband Jonny Hosner known to you all as Hoz. Jon was in a motorcycle accident Fri he was killed in this accident. They are thinking that it was medical condition that was the cause, such as a heart attack, stroke or something of that nature.  One consolation to me is that I know that Jon died doing what he loved to do. I know that my husband has a lot of friends through this site and I wanted to let you all know of our loss. I hope that  I am posting this on the board. God bless each and everyone of you.

Beverly,

I never met Jonny (HOZ) but we knew each other very well at one point.  Im going to tell you something here that even my VRCC brothers and sister dont know.  (Well they will now)  I feel very sorry that HOZ has died.  I know the heartache of the loss of a spouse, and I pray for you.

Now, this..... a few years ago HOZ, me and a dude in Alabama known as Owl spent hours and hours in the chat room talking about Valkyries and life, riding and the VRCC.....Im sure you remember those nights with him on the computer so long.  Well HOZ taught me about a fuse that got my bike fixed one night....I taught Owl how to change air cleaners and do the valves......and.....I believe HOZ actually came to Alabama and met Owl (I hope im not transposing someone else) anyway it was HOZ that came up with the encoded letters after my handle.  We were all to use it, and I think Im the only one still using it.  Its the CR3M  HOZ came up with it he said we were the Chat Room 3 Muskateers.  No one ever found out what that stood for all these years.  After this post I will be retiring the code in respect for HOZ a brother I never met but seemed so much like a brother.

My heart goes out to you Beverly and your family

I have seen his posts many times.  I have told all my family and friends the same phrase that you said about him, that if something happens to me while riding, just tell them that I was having fun.

Not many people get the chance to leave this earth doing something
they love. Fortunate are those that do. It is of small consolation to
those left behind, though. Sorry for your loss. Prayers for peace and comfort.

Beverly, my heart hurts with you.  My condolences.  I had the opportunity to share some wind with Jon and you.  He will be sorely missed.
