IS Radio

I just test rode a 99 IS with 9100 mi on it. It runs great and looks like new excpt for 1 small scratch on the front of the fairing and it needs rubber. They want 7500 for it. The problem I'm having is. How do you turn the radio on???? OK, sounds funny but, all the buttons show you what time it is, and I need some tunes.
Thanks,
Steve

on the side closest to the grip, the one with the curved handle...is the on/off button. Push it once for the radio. push it again for the CB (if equipped) and radio, push again for CB and Aux, push again for Aux, push again for off. Volume is the lower left button closest to the curved lever. Oh...that curved lever is for transmitting on the CB.
The IS also has a built-in intercom. Let us know if you have questions about that feature.

Look around the bike in bags, trunk, under seat for the owner's manual. All of the directions for radio are in manual. You will need to read it to adjust bass, treble, volume, time, etc. A lot of buttons there that need to be pushed in correct order to make certain things happen.

I have a Manual, but it is for a Standard. The Clymer guide doesn't cover any of this.
Is there a list of controls and settings anywhere? I figgured out the clock, but the rest? It used to increase volume with speed, for example, but doesn't do that anymore after I had the battery disconnected for an electrical project (installing an Aux fuse panel). I didn't even know it could set base, trebble etc...
A scanned view of this part of the I/S manual would be SO helpful.
