One of the newest valk riders here in East Texas went down Friday evening going home from work. He had planned to be at the poker run on Saturday but it was not in the cards... (No pun intended).
He is home and resting and mending .. a broken left arm, lots of bruises and road rash, but considering he broadsided a flat bed truck, I would say he is doing remarkably well. His spirits are good and he is already talking about finding another valk. Keep Gary in your thougts as he heals.

OUCH!!!!  I can appreciate the pain. I got side swiped by a Washington State Highway Patrol as he changed lanes in front of me. Sent my first 98 Valkyrie to the Valhalla for an extended stay.  Thought are with your friend.

So glad to hear his injuries weren't life-threatening and his love of riding is intact.  Old Geezer sends his best to his fellow Valk rider and hopes he recovers well.  (Me, too!)  OG's Lisa

Hey T-Roy.

Was Gary at any of our events?  Was he at the Landing of the Valkyries?  I'm trying to place him but can't.

As soon as he's up to it, hope he posts a little more info.  In the meantime, prayers from Arlington for a quick recovery.

Really sorry to hear about another crash, but glad to hear Gary's on the mend.  Do I need to ask if he was wearing a helmet???

no helmet .. he's pretty lucky. The good news is, he has decided to go buy a new helmet before he even starts looking for another bike.

Glad your friend wasn't hurt any worse.
Just looking at the pics, the bike doesn't look totaled to me. Is it that bad?
Looks like you might me good from the tripple tree back in the photos.

Tell Gar we can get together and turn his injured bike into a chopper. That would be an interesting project
