Well it's finally happened.
Our funny little Prime Minister Keven Rudd has been turfed out of the top job and his deputy has taken over .
Wait and see what happens with Julia Gillard at the helm.Dont know yet if this is good or bad .
Problem is its an election year so she may not last long.
Just wish we could get rid of our state Premier Mike Rann and turf all this anti association /anti Biker crap. tickedoff

Politics , what are you gonna say. All the same no matter where you live.

They should get out of our way and let us live.

I was wondering what kind of stance she'd take on the association laws, etc.
In the US, female legislators tend to support helmet and other restrictive laws.

Fiddle Mike,

You are quite right. Here in the great state of Michigan, our governer Jennifer Grandholm has repeatedly vetoed and/or lobbied against the repeal of our (unenforcible) helmet law.

She has repeatedly raided earmarked funds for Motorcycle Safety Training and Awareness.

Jennifer was supported ledgeslation to infiltrate Motor Cycle Clubs to extrapolate any evidence of "terrorist" activities.

She supported ledgeslation to make "Poker Runs" illegal (gambling?), and has also supported bills that would make it illegal for motorcycles to be ridden within 1000 feet of elementary schools (sort of like "drug free zones").

Yeah,...Jennie is a real piece of work!

I suppose we'll have to wait and see .At the moment she seems to be upsetting the mining companies over here by wanting to tax them more(somethins our previous prime minister put in the pipe work) .Alot of the mines are now slowing and posponing some major progects until its sorted
