A 42-year-old guy I know was hit by a car and died of injuries.  Embarrassed
The driver was a 19-year-old boy, and I know his father.
The car that was used, was buried after the accident and replaced by another car that had sustained injuries that would prove that it was the vehicle that was used. The reason was that the actual accident vehicle was unregistered.
The actual accident car was buried in their garden. And it was his father who had buried the car while the boy was at police interrogation.  uglystupid2

Father and son arrested....  (Of course)
HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE  crazy2

Ran away from the accident, drove home, broke the headlight on his father's car and returned to the accident while his father fetched a caterpillar and buried the accident car.

Prayers from Texas for your friend's family and for the man and his son responsible for the tragedy.

I've never known the people involved on both sides of a fatal accident. That would be hard. Thoughts and prayers from Southwest Indiana.
