I am convinced that there are some creatures with high intelligence out there somewhere. It must be those who have been responsible for the engineering of the Valkyrie

I like that you resisted using "intelligent", 'cause that would've started a whole 'nuther debate about whether it's here! ;-) Thanks for another off-topic, and for Dag bringing it back!

Men in Black deal with those. Or is that Valkyries in Black. And without the Valkyire to get you there............................ Norse or Viking Legend and Faith you know. I am lucky my Chariot to the Gods has POD lights to light the way and A CB to talk with. So look out Aliens don't get in my way, cause everyone knows big bikes are hard to stop. Big AL

Couldn't vote because there's not an "I'm not sure" or an "I don't care" choice. Sometimes I think that as big as the universe seems to be there could almost certainly be some life form out there somewhere. Maybe God started several life forms on different planets to see how they fared, then again maybe not. All I can do is take care of my life on this planet and do all I can to prepare for the next step. YMMV.

I cant see why not as the elements that came together for our planet to form life would surley exist elseware in the universe just dont know at what point of evolution they might be in .

I believe there is alien life. God or no God.
I think there is compelling evidence to support the alien conspiracy theory, and it explains a lot IMO.

Yes, the universe is teeming with life Yes, but they are few and very far away
I could not take your poll. My answer lies between these two.
The universe is expansive beyond my limited imagination. I think it is teeming with life, but they are all far away. Maybe not too far for contact to happen, but unless THEY have the technology, it will be a while before we sign any treaties with them.

Bobbo, couldn't take your poll. I think it is pretty arrogant of us to believe there is no life except what is on this rock so my answer is a simple Yes.

I think it was the movie "Contact" where Jodie Foster summed it up, if there is not life out there, that would be an awful lot of wasted space.
I believe

Does seem to explain some things in history that are unexplainable. Such as........................? Pryamids, cave art depicting men on rockets and wearing helmets, Nazca Lines in Peru, etc Sumerian and Myan cultures both with writings discussing beings coming from the sky and having influence on them, heck some even think the bible speaks of some sort of beings coming from the sky. Just theroies, there is lots of stuff written out there to read, some of it is way out there but some of it seems plausible.

God is very capable and why make the universe if it is just an empty void. He populated the earth with Dinosours before man. Was he learning how?? I do think the distances are so vast that it will take more smarts than we have now to find out. Maybe sometime in the future.

Some scientists postulate that aliens visited the earth many centuries ago and mated with primitive humans or near humans. We rather think there is some substance to this theory, as it seems to account for some of the looks and actions of people we see these days...
We trudge on.

Need to define life. We have found life forms (bacteria) in rocks from Mars. Some argue that "life" was introduced to Earth from Mars also in the form of bacterium.

I don't know about life beyond our planet, but I do know Trolls exist right here on Earth. They exist on this forum and ask some very leading questions at times.
I put about 300 miles on my Yamaha this weekend as part of an annual South/Central Vmax rally. What a blast -literally - through the Ozarks, that is. Totally different experience than riding my Valk Rune, but, non-the-less very enjoyable.
Now, it's bike related.
