any special rides this weekend?  any trips to the grocery store?

I'd give my left nut (wow, did I say that?? ,  if I had one) to ride somewhere this weekend, but the doctor said no riding until my back is fixed  Sad

I'll be riding in Utah... somewhere... starting on the two lanes (65mph speed limit Sad then going wherever the Valk wants to go... (I call her "J") -- wherever the next gas station is.

There's a stretch of I-70 just south of here where its almost exactly 109 miles between gas stations.

I know the feeling Sugar Bee.

Can not or I am supposed to not ride until I am off the Cumadin or Warfarin.

Heart healing fine but it will be better in Two more Weeks.

Promised my Dad I would not until I was off the Meds in November.

But it's so hot right now I don't think it's that enjoyable unless you are on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

God's little Air Conditioner.

Here's to you getting well soon

The First Auburn Cord Duesenberg Cruise is tomorrow morning.  We'll ride to Auburn Indiana, visit the museum, have lunch, take a ride to the 'Smilin Face' in Ashley, then back for a visit to the WWII Victory museum.

Tomorrow night, cookout starring half pound ground chuck burgers, covered with crimini mushrooms in merlot wine sauce. Also brats with the trimmings.  Baked Beans,   Potato salad, homemade brownies with Cool Whip,  then tire kicking 'til???

Lookin' forward to it.

Riding back and forth to work - ~50 miles. I work weekends, and it's beginning to be a drag. But I've ridden 5 times this week. I ride pretty much every day, unless I have to take the truck for some reason, or we are having a tornado or severe thunderstorm warning. Just rain doesn't stop me. Over the years, probalby 15-20% of my riding was wet - sure beats caged, any day!

So, you can be just a little jealous...as can I for those going to the Auburn show...

Rode today, does that count? Hopefully get in some riding this weekend as well. Been getting lots of rain and with 100 acres there's lots of riding the mower or tractor bush hoggin. And that's about as much fun.  Grin

i have a rule, unless it's raining when i'm on my way to work i'm taking the cycle!  and it better be raining hard!!  don't care if it's raining on my way home, i'm changing when i get there anyway so i can be soaking wet for all i care!!

this is my last weekend for working nights, until next month.  wife is going camping with the kids.  this working weekend crap sucks!  if i could find a normal hour job, i'd take it in a heart beat! (then again, i know there are people out there that would love working, no matter what the hours!)

Nice, if not hot weather all weekend... Valk and the ST1300, and heck even the convertible Bug are all in the garage...

...and I'm stuck in front of a computer all weekend... Freaking oncall rotation, hafta be within 15 minutes of my computer at all times... Sad

Oh well... Ride to Work... Work to Ride...

Yup, leaving shortly for my favorite breakfast ride. "Skyway Jacks" the best country ham in the state. Then a morning ride before the heat factor, checking out several bike shops, to stay current.
We will have three Valkyries and a Kawasaki V-2000...Pics to follow.

Rode about 130 miles or so yesterday.  Left Lucedale and rode to Moss Point for a lunch date.   Grin  Then to the bank to complete an affidavit on my debit card # being stolen and used.  After that went to Gautier.  Took care of some business and hung out in a new motorcycle gear store for a an hour or so.  Then rode MS Hwy 57 up to Benndale, 26 from Benndale into Lucedale and US 98 home.  Probably going out tomorrow.  I'm definitely riding Monday.  I've got a Patriot Guard ride in Biloxi for an Air Force retiree's funeral then over to Gulport for lunch with a friend.  After that I'm heading back to Gautier then home.  Will be well over a 200 mile day.
