Hello All You Inzane Nuts
Here is the planned route to White Fish Point Mi.  Round trip is 358 miles and a lot to see and do. So we will be leaving ground zero at 8:00 am
We will start out on 88 from ground zero to 131 to Petoskey about 50 miles we will stop for a short bath room break to unload all that coffee.  Shocked From there we will be on 31 to just south of mackinaw city where we will pick up I-75 and cross the BIG Mac to St. Ignace .   There is a fee at the end of the bridge the parking lot is big enough for us to regroup.  We will take the exit to route 2 for gas and then back to I-75 to 123 and onto white fish point. It should be about 70 plus miles.  If memory serves me right there will be a lighthouse on the way that we can stop and look around.

THE ROUTE BACK
Leaving white fish point we go to Paradise and stop for some homemade pie and bite to eat then we will take 123 through Tahquamenon Falls State Park and if you all want to stop and take look at the falls we can do that.  We will stay on 123 to 28 and then turn south on 117 to hwy 2 and back to St. Ignace and back across the BIG Mac.( Remember you will have to pay to get back across)  We will exit off I-75 to 31 and back to Petoskey to 131.  Then exit to hwy 75 to Lake Charlevoix then some back roads back to ground zero.  To many back road to name them all Arrival time back ????????
See you all at in Mi.  cooldude  Cheesy Cool

I’m looking forward in that ride!!  NITROJUNKIE and I will be leaving that morning to head back to Wisconsin and we’ll be splitting off after crossing Mackinaw Bridge.  It’ll be a fun farewell.  Wish I had more vacation time with my company, I’d stay longer.

Hi Rainman...if your talking about  Point Iroquois Lighthouse...you will have to turn off Hwy 123 a few miles out of Trout lake Mi...onto Strongs Rd.....this is a great rd. that will take you to Lake Superior you will have turn right on West Lake Shore Drive (Curely Lewis Hwy) about 10 miles (well worth it beautiful curvy road) Great historic lighthouse...you will then have to ride back to M-123 by way of the Curly lewis Hwy

The Iroquois Point Lighthouse is located about 18miles East of Paradise on the Curley Lewis Hwy if you can include Strongs road out of Trout lake you won't regret it....now you go to Paradise and take Whitefish point road 11miles up to the Whitefish point Lighthouse
the shipwreck museum is up there (pricey)come back down there is a bakery restaurant right by the intersection ....

Berry Patch Gifts & Bakery (906)492-3330. 1/10 mile south of the blinking light on M-123  good pie...Paradise is known for their Blueberry festival in August....

look me up before you head out on your ride...I led rides up there for years....St. Ignace weekend we ride up there every year...
