I went on my first cycle get together on Thursday.  I’m not one for clubs, or group gatherings, but I’ve got to tell you, what a great group of guys!!  I’m so happy I bought a Valkyrie!  I got to meet some members from this forum, and from others.  My favorite is that OSS guy!  Funny!!  Sorry I couldn’t change your head light, what do you expect from an electrician!!  Hoser, love his cream and red Valk!  Beautiful cycle!!  GRIZZ, thanks for helping with OSS’s headlights!  And the other guy, didn’t catch or remember his name, he actually fixed the headlights!!  And most of all, my good buddy NITROJUNKIE!!  Thanks for letting me bunk up with you!  I can’t wait for our trip around Lake Superior with MP!!  Hope we have as good of weather as we had on Thursdays!!

It was really great to meet with all the other guys that are in our own back yard that I didn’t know about!!  Two guys from the Rice Lake area, Greg from Chippewa!  We should start a “Chippewa Valley VRCC” get together.

I went to the VOAI Rally last year in West Virginia and had a great time. I've only met a couple Valkyrie riders that did'nt pass my 5 minute test ( If I don't like you in 5 minute's I'm not going to like you in 5 years ) and they don't even get on the Valkyrie forums. Great bunch just like here on the VRCC . I support the VOAI as I try to do here buying from the vendors and attending events etc.

Alph, you guys that haven't been to a VRCC annual event your gonna love it. Hell any time you get a bunch of Valkohalics togather it's a blast. I've been a member here since 02 or 03 and this will be the 3rd Inzane for us. The 1st was right after my Quad by-pass recovery ha ha. Yes your right as far as having a ride up here. This is Gods country and if the VRCC wont come here then we should Run it by the state rep and pending just have our own. Ebony over in red wing puts some really good rides togather an some day I will have to go on one. I'"m going back down to the Ride-in in Lacrosse  In the morning as soon as I get Roberta off to work.

Thanx for the compliment alph, happy to try to help with the headlight, lucky that we found somebody that knew what he was doing.   I use both forums, and also attend both gatherings when I can. I was at the VRCC last year in Colorado. There is  good folks in both clubs.  Wish I could have stayed the last two days, but I came two days early and was missing the missus, after 40 years, we kinda get used to each others company.  If the trike idea comes through, I'l bring her along next time.  Glad to meetcha.  I've been busy all day, cleaning 2000 miles of grime off the Fatlady.  cooldude

Great times in La Crosse for sure! I can't remember a more fun week. Looking forward to the Loop ride and InZane big time!

Here's a picture of Alph's bike making the Harleys look teeny at a bike night last Wednesday. My blue/silver IS is hidden behind the group of admirers in the background.  Wink

It was great meeting you and the others at the Rudy's bike night. The LED work you put into your I/S is really special. Hope to meet up with you again soon.
