man geico really screwed me over well i had my first speeding ticket on my beast in 12yrs i had the bike new since 1996 (oct) that is almost going on 14 yrs. well i had full coverage with a rate of 178.00 august 2008 speeding somewhere in wyoming  i  will call it hicksville, wyoming i was coming home from a alaska trip that summer so geico decided it would double my rate to now 308.00 i now have a better rate at progressive. i know there allot of stories out there on insurance companies taken drivers for a ride. but lets say alstate was 842.00 just for libility there reason one speeding ticket in 13.5 years on my bike. talkin about a inserted boot, lol

IIRC, in Texas if you get a ticket for a moving violation the insurance company can raise your rates 20 per cent for the next 3 years.  With 3 bikes and a car that makes me very careful about not getting caught.

I honestly have never heard any riders say anthing good about Allstate. I have had Allstate for 23 years. Several homes and a condo, Hurricane Insurance, boat /truck /car and bikes, no complaints here.
  I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else, been good to me. Heck their still giving me my Military discount and I got out 15 years ago. I've had two claims in that time frame, rates never increased.
 I also use AAA RV Plus, for the towing, if needed on the bike.
     I'm in good hands... Grin
