The first ACDC ride is finished. Everyone had a good time, lots of friends, fun, and food. Visited the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, took a short break in downtown Auburn, then did a short ride and home for food and tire-kicking and assorted bs. Here are some pictures from the day.... Getting ready for the ride, rain on the way unfortunately. Pre-ride tire kicking.... On our way... Short ride to Auburn. A Cord on a turntable. It's a Duesey Duesenberg engine.... Downtown Auburn, a statue depicting a very famous WWII picture. There were quite a few statues representing different aspects of life in the bygone era. Relaxing in the needed shade in Downtown Auburn, temps were in the high 80's. Our ride took us past the Huge Smiley Face Water Tower in Ashley. Psychotic Bovine is definitely NOT smiling. Got back to New Haven, I was too busy making dinner to take pics of all of the happy riders enjoying burgers and brats.

Wayne, the photos of ACD were awesome....I hope that you guys do it again next year and that I get a second chance to enjoy your company.
I have a great job 90% of the time....it is great until something go wrong (or something is "perceived" to be wrong) with one of my projects....then I am one of the first to be lined up against the wall for target practice. Unfortunately Friday was designated target practice at the last minute....as is today and probably tomorrow.

Looks like a great time was had by all....I heard just recently that the Nurse depicted in that WWII kissing statue has passed away...thought I would just throw that out there. Hope to meet you all someday on a nice ride.

Our ride took us past the Huge Smiley Face Water Tower in Ashley. Psychotic Bovine is definitely NOT smiling. But... he has such a nice bike... Anywho... we went past a giant pumpkin watertower on the Whiskey Run (no picture) and South Carolina has The Peachoid... -Mike

You're right Andy, We have the ACD museum ride like the CBR had the Mansfield bridge, etc. We don't have the nice curves and hills here so we have to have other attractions. The ACD Cruise was very nice for the first time. It was also really nice to see that my Valkyrie, now L'll D's, was painted a beautiful dark blue to take the place of the original black. Deb was so nice to retain the name Emanuel on the Valk. That kinda brought a tear to my eye. Here's a pic of Emanuel with the new paint.
