Thank you Taz for putting the ride in on. Always great to see my Valkyrie brothers and sisters again

MP's sidecar rig is just beautiful. Its the 2001 dark red and black combo that Hotrod and only a few other lucky people have had the chance to own. He and Charlene are great folks and I loved spending time talkin with them both. The video of BigDaddy getting out of the sidecar is not for the faint of heart but he is a real sport and good rider.  Amy you are a real doll to be able to hang on with him. Most powerful sounds from the radio I have heard without subwoofers. 4 powered speakers all in front.

Took the advice of the ferry ride which was nice once I passed the thunderstorms east of Muskeegon, but I needed a shower anyways, so got me weekly shower in at the same time crazy2  I actually rode off the road at one point as I could not see thru the fog in my glasses and when I took em off it was not pretty. About the darkest sky I have seen in quite a spell and you couldnt see a few feet in front of you it was comin down so hard.  Said a prayer of thanks to 3Wlonerider for taking the time to give me 4 way flashers a few years ago  Thank you my friend you may have saved my life as trucks were wizzin by me and there was no overpass to hide under

Met 98T for lunch west of Milwaukee and he took the time to get me to an auto parts store to get 2 new silverstar headlamps as we noticed after lunch that my lows were both out. Alph, Griz,  Hoser and me assisted in the replacement operation. That spring just would not go back on its post for us till Challenger did it by feel only, no peeking.  Awesome display Challenger, hope your wife has a full recovery from what is ailing her.

As always at a rally the time after the rides is most special with lots of tall tale telling and such plus of course various beverages.  The bagels went immediately and since they were just a day old and made at 7am when I was leaving NY they were most fresh, unlike the 4 day old ones we had on Rt 16 in Va/WVa when Kenn went down a few years ago.

Thursday a great great ride to the farm on roads that would be at home in the W Va/N.C area and really also enjoyed the split off ride I took with Jack and Keith and his wife Kathy after the lunch stop.
We went to Prairie du Chen then into Iowa and Minnesota along some great river roads that are similar to some here in the Hudson Valley. Lots of great views and shady riding so we never felt the heat.

Friday's ride included rt 95 which is like the cherahola only in Wisconsin with just sweet sweepers. Took my own way back after lunch and found a river park that I walked for an hour alone just grooving on nature.

Karsten, Steph, Jetdriver, Chicago Mark, Bill and Mary, Grey and lady grey, Dick and Cathy, Hoser, Griz Challenger and his wife, Alph, I know I am forgetting lots of names but everyone was just real nice and it was good to spend time with each of them

The tornado passed north of us and since the weather for PA/NY was going to suck monday and tuesday I headed home Saturday.  No worries on 90 thru Chicago, took express lanes and only had a 10 minute jam up under the buildings downtown then zoom zoom zoom to Gig's which is 46 minutes north of route 80 east of route 23.

The pool was great and dinner also then the secretary auditions were held which results are confidential until I get the signed releases from the candidates. Gig rode with me to the 475 split and I found out that Michigan roads are real smooth as we were in the 90's and even triple digits on the way down at 6am for a whole bunch of time

It was 1173.73 miles  from Lacrosse to Ossining and I was dry the whole way

A nice way to spend 6 days in July and I cant wait for the next ride in which will be in Maggie Valley next year.  Hoping to see all of my southern friends who I have really missed like Warlock, Lee, Mark, GoogooMagoo, Bird, Redvalk, Joe, Charliemac, Don and Tracy Bashfulbob and their womenfolk and so many others at that one

Now its off to work where my secretary thinks I am still in Wisconsin.  We will soon see if I indeed need a new secretary as if she is goofing off she is a gonner.

Will modify this link this evening with pics so check it again tonite for the pics

You better admit to eating "cheese curds" if you went to WI.

Some of the Valker locals should have taken you out for some local "brews and curds".

That would be like going to Coney Island and not going to "Nathans".
Going to the Finger Lakes and not tasting their local fermented grape squeezings.
Or going to New Jersey and not having at least one "Ripper".

Remember: When in Rome, do as the Romans.

Oss wasn't there at the time, but I know I exposed some out-of-staters to fresh, squeaky cheese curds. Seemed like everybody enjoyed them!

Oh, and some also got to enjoy a few Leinie's brews as well!

Hey, OSS:

Regarding the secretary auditions:

At first, I think Karen had a leg up  coolsmiley

But, Nancy may have nailed it with the oral skills  Shocked Grin

Tough choice! It was more of the same on Sunday...

I understand there may be a movie deal in the works.
Whatever you do, NEVER give up the video rights!  Roll Eyes

Cheers!
