The U.S. Supreme Court has issued a ruling that extends gun rights to every city and state in the nation.

In a 5-4 ruling, the court has reversed a lower court ruling that had upheld Chicago's handgun ban.

The Supreme Court ruling was split along the court's liberal and conservative lines.

The majority opinion ruled that the Second Amendment also governs state and local gun laws.

Definitely a victory, but scary just how close it was... Something this common sense should have been unanimous...

Just a reminder though, be sure to join the NRA and GOA and your state gun rights organizations, they need our support. No, the NRA is FAR from perfect, but they need our support anyway...

I agree with Serk, the NRA isn't perfect.  I'm an Endowment Life member of the NRA because they're the biggest Voice that we have.

Now, lessee what can we do about Chicago?

Ya, a victory of sorts....but, hold on to yer hats, the top courts have left the door open for state lawmakers to totally inconveniance anyone thinking they will go out a buy a handgun with layers of registration and red tape.

Im with Ted Nugent...he says the second ammendment IS his concealed carry permit PERIOD

Yes this is a "sweet day" for freedom lovers. Smiley If you're not an NRA member then you need to thank one and/or become one because without the NRA this probably would not have happened. If you're not a fan of the NRA then there are other 2'nd amendment oriented civil rights groups out there. The "Second Amendment Foundation" is another good choice but the NRA is the big dog on the block thanks to it's 4 million or so members.

Here is another freedom we need to work on.

A autobahn type highway.

Hans Stuck ex Grand Prix driver demonstrates the freedom in question.

Thanks Frye for the well wishes and I would love to meet you as well.

I like meeting new people and going new places.

Smokin Joe introduced me to this bunch of good people on Dragon's At the Beach in Panama City, FLA.

I said to myself , I like this Valkyrie Gang and left it at that =.

Then of course I had to exp. the Dragon for myself.

98 Tourer in almost mint condition, rode it till it had 10,000 miles on it. It had 2800 on it when purchased.

Lucky 13 found it for me.

But I wanted a Interstate and finally tok the plunge.

Smokin Joe found it for me on the Craig's List.

Lucky 13 drove me down to Soddy Daisy Tennessee to pick it up.

Found another well maintained bike with 48,000 on it.

Love it so much I go out and just look at it sometimes to make sure it's OK>

As Willow says it has the Tulsa Tall Windshield on it.

The windshield is tall , but if I sit up straight I can just see over it in a rain event.
