Some may remember this post from January... especially if you lent your support!

Well, I actually did it.  On June 6th I ran the San Diego FULL marathon.  Yes, 26.2 miles.

It's not easy to look like a biker at 3:00 AM before a marathon....

4:00 AM... can I go to bed now?

FINISH LINE!  Yeah, check out that time... OVER EIGHT HOURS, BABY!

My new favorite shirt.

After running for EIGHT HOURS, there's only one thing to do....

Just want to say again, thanks to those who supported me with donations or encouragement.  This was an amazing experience and I'm already planning to participate again this fall.

One final note, in the finish line pic you see a name on my jersey I was running in honor of... Phan Diec, a friend and co-worker of mine.  This sweet lady finally lost her battle with cancer yesterday.  Please remember her family in your prayers.

Wow Dude.  You're a stud.

I ran 27 miles a WEEK when I was in the Navy, and hated EVERY stride of it.  @ 280 lbs, it was REALLY hard on me, and even after a YEAR of it, my legs NEVER got used to it.

Good on YOU!

Congrats.
