I'm building a new bookshelf to put in my office to hold some overflow books....these couple of pics are just rough shots of where I'm headed....I have been taking better pics with the camera and will post those when I'm done.....

I obviously can't ride the Valk and work on these at the same time.... Wink

Good looking shelves.  Gotta love them pocket holes.  I use them all the time.

Lookin' good  cooldude

I love woodworking too, but don't get around to it much during the 'riding' months...  It's more of a 'sanity keeper', when the long Wisconsin winter sets in...

Post more pic's, when ya get 'em done.

Made by 'Krieg', and is called a 'Pocket Hole Jig'...  Comes in various kits (read small $, to BIG $$$), but works very well.

Rockler or Woodcraft, among others sell them.

Yeah.....pocket hole joinery is a lot faster than when I used to cut dados and drill holes for screws etc.....

I did use some wood glue on the ends of the shelves....and a luan back will be tacked on the back of the bookshelf for looks and more support of the weight on the shelves... cooldude

Nice work.
But keep your clothes on, no dance music, and especially no video cameras while woodworking.

Have fun!
