The evidence I have found is that they do fit which is why I contacted him on the 20th and have agreed to purchase it. I am just waiting on the shipping quote.

No that's not what I'm saying at all. What I'm saying is that if I find it doesn't work I'll have one to sell you.

The back section of the Tourer and Interstate are the same when it comes to trailer hitches. One thing you might run into though is the spacers/bolts necessary for the hitch to fit properly. If the hitch doesn't come with them, you will want to search around your local hardware or Fastenal store looking for the right parts.
Also, depending on the spacers involved with that hitch, you may have to modify the cross-bar to hold the bags. When you put the spacers in, it will push the bags out a bit...causing the cross-bar to be too short.

Just bought one from a board member, I have the same info as far as fitment goes. Going to build the trailer though, so not in a hurry to install the hitch.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

If anybody ever needs the mounting bolts for the Hitchdoc I had to buy a box of 50 of both sizes to get the place to order them for me. They are longer than the stock bolts. So I have a few to get rid of if somebody need them. Scoobydoo
