Was supposed to rain on and off all day.....I took a chance and spent all morning painting some cabinet doors.........didnt rain..........got the doors put up to dry and thought Id go for a ride.........looked like rain all around, radar looked bad.  I thought, dang it I want to ride, and Im gonna ride so I went for a short cruise, stopped at Lowes for some stuff and got home.  Three drops of rain on the bike...its gonna break loose any minute now, and the bike is inside.  Now I have three water spots to contend with....there goes thunder now right on cue.........I love winning storm dodging  cooldude

Well, the rain wins today.......but so did the Valkyrie........couldnt do my work either (painting) so I put the bike up on the lift and cleaned all them places that you cant normally get to like up over the timing cover just below the radiator, the water pump and engine housing around the headers and the wheels real good especially left side on the rear....then waxed the whole gal down again.

Ive never had a bike for over 7 years.  Never put 110 miles on a bike......never had a bike that was so much fun to ride......and even fun to clean, because even after 7 years, once you buff out that last spot of wax you just have to admire the beauty and you dont have to worry about getting slapped by the wife for staring at a pretty girl  Cheesy

A little over kill for three drops of rain, but oh,well.........if you cant ride it, it might as well get a good cleaning  cooldude
