Hey out there, I’m about to take a cruise to Big Bend on my Interstate and want to mount a Tom-Tom on it, what have you found to work? Also have any of you just used the windshield mount, and does that work or is there to much wind vibration?  coolsmiley

I tried the windshield mount for my TomTom, but it would not stay put overnight on my Hondaline windshield - even without the TomTom in it.  Too much curvature on the windshield.  I wound up leaving it in the top pocket of my tank bag whith the cigarette lighter adapter run down to the socket that's mounted behind the petcock.  Although the screen angle was not the best for viewing in bright daylight, it was there if I needed it for a quick reference, and was easy to disconnect and stow in the saddlebag when stopped.

I bought a Ram Mount for my Garmin; it works well and has given me no problems.  It holds my heavy Garmin in place as long as I crank it tight.

I'll bet they have a mount for a Tom-Tom.

Ram has a mount for just about anything.  Maxim Honda has another line of mounts that are fairly universal albeit they're a little expensive .. but what the heck, its for your bike!
