Back in March I got a ton of great response to my "Second bike survey/question"
A few of you guys/gals had both a Valkyrie & a ST1300: (Britman, Serk, Black Pearl's Captain) to name a few.
I did buy a new 2009 Red ST1300 leftover in May after test driving a few bikes, I still plan to keep my 2001 Valkyrie standard, she recently turned 70,000 miles.

I would really appreciate it if those who also have a ST1300 would check the radial rotaton play on the back wheel of your "ST" & let me know what you get.
I checked mine yesterday on the centerstand with a ruler held steady at the O.D. of the ST tire, with the bike lock in 1st gear, the tire can rotate front to rear aprox. 1 7/8". (1.875  Smiley old machinist)

My 70,000 mile Valyrie only rotates 3/4" far less slop than my new ST. ( Valkyrie on center lift jack)
I have gotten use to shuting the throttle slowly if possible on the ST because of the slap you get when you slam the throttle closed. That is what got me interested in checking out the play in each of my bikes drive line.
Can't believe the Valkyrie is that much tighter than the new ST1300.
