my oem low beam lasted 9 years.
last year when it died i put in a 9003??? i got at walmart and it only lasted
1 year.
anyone know what the letters are after the 9003?
i checked today and they had a couple to choose from.
just thinking, is cutting off the 2 tabs at the bottom keep any less secure where it may vibrate more than the oem would with all 3 tabs in tact?

I replaced mine 2 years ago with the Ultra Silverstars. Love the difference. There are some adapters sold on E Bay that fit on the new bulb with the bottom tabs cut off and that provide the 2 bottom tabs. That is how I installed mine and still going after 2 years. When you replace those bulbs, be sure to avoid touching them with you bare fingers. That will shorten the bulb's life.
