Having been born and raised in Iowa, I learned eons ago when on a bike to NEVER, EVER pull up next to a livestock truck at a stoplight. A few years ago while traveling on the Valk through one of Illinois' small farm towns, I watched as another rider of Wisconsin fame, and his buddy, pulled up next to me...then decided to split the lanes and pulled up next to the double-decker cattle truck two spots in front of me. Big mistake, the sky was clear so that wasn't rain falling from the upper deck. I assume they cut their ride short that day. Love it when "stuff" happens....to others.

It does have a tendency to splatter, and not where ya want it to either.
