I was out for a ride today and it hit me that just about everything you see for motorcycles is a V-Twin (American & Metric). And then I realized that owning and riding this Valkyrie truly is being on the "Dark Side". When people see you ride-by they take notice. Yes .... I am on a Valkyrie .... "Chooser of The Slain"  ....   so watch out  Cool

Agreed!
Although there are some great V-twin powered bikes out there like the VTX series, the Kawi Vulcan series & others IMHO there is still nothing like a 4 or 6 cylinder powerplant for a motorcycle.
The old Valks never fail to attract stares & questions wherever we go. I feel sorry for those folks who claim they will never ride anything but one certain brand or engine configuration.... I guess if you don't know you won't miss it!

Now, every school girl has tattoos and body piercings.  Any knucklehead can sport a do-rag and own a Harley.  It's cool to have such a rare and cool bike as the Valkyrie.

A Flat Six with the wick twisted above 3 thousand RPM is addictive.

Not Everyone can trust themselves with that kind of power without eminent destruction.

Or tickets out the Wazoo.

Above 3?  She doesn't even start to sing until 4.5.   Grin

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

And redlining every so often is addictive, especially 1st thru 3rd.
