Author Topic: Where can I get a new windshield for my IS ?  (Read 2059 times)

Have some faint white stains on my windshield and am looking for a new shield.  Think had better stay with Plexus only from now on.  Who carries a Windshield at a decent price?

Fuzzy,

Here are a few:

http://clearviewshields.com/shop/product.php?id=34

http://www.ceebaileys.com/honda/valkyrieinterstatews.html

http://www.tulsaenterprises.com/valkyrie.html

http://www.directlineparts.com/byProduct.asp?prd=Windshield&str=2

Those are to name a few.  I personally have a clearview on my tourer and Interstate and I am very satisified and the guys working for Clearview are very helpful and friendly.  Hope this helps.

Yea, what Stude31 says.  I have a Clearview shorty/black shield on my IS and I really like the fit and the quality.

Showchrome did make a shield that was 2in taller and 4in per side wider than stock. I've been running one for years and I like it. JC Whitney is where I got mine.

I have the Cee Bailey, think its 2" shorter than stock and 4" wider.....  got rid of alot of buffeting and not as square as the stock.... nice curve to it.

After thinking it over I need a taller windshield.  Is there another company besides Show Chrome that sells a higher windshield?

If you are going to INZANE, I will have 2 of them on hand, in near perfect shape too. Might even be able to get it installed!

JC Whitney is probably the Show Chrome. It's where/what I bought and after riding from Edmonton Alberta to southern Ontario I am very pleased. Good fit and finish, no rattles or buzz, bugs clean off easily.
Careful removing the current shield. Those rubber grommet things are hard to find if you break them.

+1 on the Clearview.

Just installed a new one this weekend. 2" taller-5" wider. Good quality, nice to deal with.
